    Create a track in GarageBand that celebrates your style with pop composer and storyteller Be Steadwell. Be, a self-taught artist, will share their passion for making music that affirms queer stories and helps everyone feel seen. Then you’ll learn how to use loops and beats to build authentic sounds and record them on iPad. A session in support of Pride. Devices provided. Sign language supported.

    For sessions with amplified sound, hearing loop technology is available on request.

    A D.C. native, Be Steadwell is a pop composer and storyteller who melds multiple styles, creating a space that affirms queer stories through music. Their novel, Chocolate Chip City, is set for release in 2025
